The Heritage Trail is an independent historical website, established by Linda and Laurie Jonas in 1998. Both are passionate and knowledgeable about Britain's heritage, and take every opportunity to explore it from all aspects. Every site featured has been personally visited and many of the histories include personal reflections from those visits Virtually all counties in England contain brief histories on a diverse range of historical sites and monuments that are popular with visitors, as well as many sites throughout Wales, Scotland and the Isle of Mann.
